Cloud Court's Armatus uses cutting edge speech-to-text technology to capture deponent testimony in real time, then links that testimony to the entire universe of discovery documents in your case. As a witness speaks, a deposing attorney or a member of their litigation team (in-room or remote) merely needs to highlight content in that transcript and Armatus will auto launch a search for documents that are most closely related to what your witness is saying.
This enables in-room or remote colleagues (with little or no experience with eDiscovery tools) to quickly find key documents. Remote team members (e.g., litigation counsel, retained experts, or in-house counsel) can quickly and easily identify key documents and craft questions that they can unobtrusively send to the questioning attorney to box in or impeach a witness (or rehabilitate one of their own).
Attorneys (including any remote colleagues) can use Armatus during depositions to help determine whether a deponent is lying, contradicting themselves or others, or omitting key information and then craft questions tailored to elicit testimony favorable for their case or devastating to their opponent’s. Built in collaboration features enable remote team members to listen to the live deposition (or read the realtime transcript), share documents and communicate with each other during the deposition, essentially crowdsourcing depositions.
